Jenna and Rick Neaves both are Northern Michigan University graduates. While attending NMU, the two were involved in athletics and earned degrees in Sports Science & Health Fitness Management, with Jenna earning a Masters in Exercise Science. After graduation, their passion for fitness and competition moved outside of the classroom where they relocated to Florida. Jenna became a personal trainer and participated in bodybuilding competitions. Rick became a police officer and eventually became a SWAT team leader. Although enjoying their time in south Florida, when the opportunity to move back to the U.P presented itself, they did not hesitate. Once back in MQT they decided to open up MQT nutrition with Jenna’s brother Jake. Jake who is also a NMU graduate of Finance and Fitness Management, grew up in MQT playing hockey, baseball, golf and wrestling. With the team established, MQT opened its doors in November 2016. When Jenna and Rick are not hard at work, they enjoy spending time going hiking, swimming, traveling, ice skating, and sledding with their two daughters.
